Integrative Structural Biology

structural biology

Integrative structural biology methods combine information from a range of experimental techniques (e.g., crystallography, NMR, EM, mass spectrometry, small-angle X-ray scattering, single-molecule fluorescence) with computational modelling (often including molecular dynamics simulations) and theory to generate structural models.

We are using smFRET to produce structures of protein-DNA complexes, and developing methods for de novo structure determination.
